Bought this in Okinawa, and the sales-lady gestures "against the grain" shaving motion. I hadn't shaved in 4 days so my stubble was significant. I also shave my head even though I am not bald. I recently switched to Harry's razors as I get more bang for the buck against the far more expensive razors. Anyhow, after I shower, I apply the foam across my face and head. Take the razor to my face against the grain, and man, what a difference. I normally use fairly expensive shave creams, but this allows the blade to cut through stubble like a hot knife through butter. Same with the rest of my head. I have a few spots that require a lot more attention, and this took care of those without issue. I also have 2 moles that I occasionally cut, but 4 shaves since purchasing (3-4 days between) and not once did I cut myself. Same blade too! To top it off, I felt no significant razor burn post shave, and prior to applying shave balm. Head is smooth all day and well into the evening. Highly recommend this product to shave with.
