Return Policy
All sales are final. If your product was damaged during delivery or is found to be defective, you may send it back, with receipt, within 10 days for exchange. Shipping & handling charges are not refundable. Please call customer service before returning any item.

Earn an extra 10% off orders of $150 or more.
When checking out you must enter the code "JMO" in the coupon area on the payment page of checking out, otherwise the 10% will not be deducted.

Sales Tax
Sales tax of 8.375% is applied to orders delivered within the state of New York.

Shipping
Orders will be processed within 1 business day.
Orders cannot be delivered to post office boxes or APO boxes.

We now offer free UPS ground shipping for all orders.
And we offer 3-Day Select, 2-Day and Overnight deliveries at normal UPS rates. These rates are shown during checkout. Rates and delivery timetables are based on shipment from our fulfillment center in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Problems Ordering
If you click on the Order button and get no response, it is probably because you can't connect securely to our server.

- You are behind a corporate firewall that won't allow secure connections. Ask your network administrator to fix it, or order from home.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. All orders are shipped at no cost to you via UPS Ground service. If you choose 3-Day, 2-Day or Overnight shipping, UPS rates will be charged based on your zip code.

How long will it take UPS to deliver my package?
Our fulfillment facility is located in Massachusetts. Please see map below for UPS's estimated delivery time for ground shipping to your part of the country. (Number of transit days is not guaranteed by UPS but is a good estimate.) All internet orders are filled the same day or next day (Mondays for orders placed late on Friday and during weekends.)

Will my personal information be kept private?
Yes. We at John Masters organics respect your right to privacy. Therefore the information collected on this website will follow the strict guidelines of the Yahoo! Privacy Policy and John Masters Organics will never sell your information to a third party.

How do I know which products are right for me?

How do you decide which ingredients to use?
All ingredients must meet John's strict guidelines :
1. No sodium lauryl sulfate, parabens, DEAs, MEAs, or TEAs
2. No GMOs (Genetically Modified Organism)
3. No petro-chemicals
4. No animal testing
5. No artificial colors, fragrances or fillers
6. Ingredients must be as organic as possible
7. All plant extracts and essential oils must be certified organic whenever possible
8. All essential oils used must be steam-distilled and not extracted with propylene glycol - which kills the effect of the oils
9. All plant oils must be cold pressed, not heat distilled - which kills the therapeutic properties of plant oils
10. All ingredients must be proven to be beneficial to the hair or skin
11. All ingredients must be harvested in an environmentally-friendly manner (wild-crafted)
12. All ingredients must be bio-degradable as possible
13. Fair-Trade ingredients must be used when possible

Are your products tested on animals? Are they Vegan?
As John's favorite pooch Maya knows, he believes in ethical treatment for all animals. Including humans. None of our ingredients or products are tested on any animals and John Masters Organics is endorsed by PETA . In addition, our entire line is vegan except for products containing honey and beeswax.

Do your products contain Parabens or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate?
No. John Masters Organics products are entirely free of all parabens and sodium lauryl sulfate.

Are there preservatives in your products?
Yes, preservatives must be used to ensure that the products are safe and free of bacteria. We use the safest, most natural preservatives available and we are constantly updating our products as the newest preservatives become available. You can find the ingredients under each product on the website.

Can you make an appointment for the salon online?
At this moment in time we are unable to book appointments over the internet, however, you can make an appointment by calling 212.343.9590 during normal business hours.

Are your products available for wholesale?

Do you have a John Masters Organics color line?
We do not have a John Masters Organics color line, however, we do use the most natural ammonia-free, herbal and clay based colors available.

Are your products certified organic?
At the moment the USDA organic seal is only approved for products that meet their acceptable edible food standards. New progress is being made everyday to help create a standard for the cosmetic industry. It is very important to John Masters Organics to have the seal on all of the products as soon as it is available.
